This month we celebrated ten years of marriage. We had envisioned a different anniversary celebration. One that was filled with the warm ocean air, palm trees, and sand between our toes. We hoped that friends would have joined us there too. Maybe you have struggled with some of your longer term goals or plans. Maybe this year has made you rethink your long term goals.
We quickly decided to use the extra time during the covid19 lockdown to expand our business. What better way to stay positive and forward focused, then to be able to help more people achieve their goals. Here we were in the second full lockdown in Ontario, with winter still on our doorstep, continuing to grow our business, serve more people-in both providing amazing homes, and helping people earn money through hands-off real estate investment opportunities. We are choosing to focus on what we can control and how we can keep our energy high. The best way we can think to do this is to be of service to others.
Early in our marriage, we took a leap of faith and signed up for a three day Real Estate course with an amazing facilitator named Pip Stehlik. We paid $500 for that course, and at the time we questioned whether it was a good investment or not. During that weekend we signed up for more courses. We discussed at length whether we had been fooled or if we made the best decision of our lives. We decided that this investment was going to be a success story we would tell in the future. We firmly believed that this one step would change the trajectory of our lives. We set our first goal and achieved that within the first three months of completing the first course. We keep setting goals and celebrating with our clients as they set their goals of home ownership in our program. We love this part of our business. In November 2020 we hit one of our big goals. With thirty something days to spare in the year we had officially reached a level we had long dreamed of. It opened our hearts and minds to dream again and set some even bigger goals for serving people in 2021. We want to exponentially help more people achieve their goals this year!
